The Spanish forward had to be rushed to hospital after a sickening clash of heads and fall that saw him smash into the ground with considerable force.

Torres was left stricken on the turf as team-mates and medical staff attended to him, with Diego Simeone having insisted he "heard a crack" from the dugout area.
Atleti later confirmed that the player would spend the night in hospital, while a further, more positive, update revealed that Torres was "stable and conscious".
And the former Chelsea and Liverpool star has now taken to social media to reassure fans, thanking them for the messages of support.
