Manchester City Abu Dhabi Cup sees thousands of children participate
Over 40 teams too part in the competition.
Thousands of young footballers and spectators took advantage of some classic English football conditions in Abu Dhabi to take part in the first ever Manchester City FC Abu Dhabi Cup.
Boys and girls representing a total of 40 teams from across the Middle East played across the weekend with the winning prizes being special professional coaching sessions from Manchester City FC.
The tournament took place in Zayed Sports City on Friday and Saturday and was open to children falling in the Under-10, Under-12, Under-14 and Under-16 categories.
The event was run by the English Premier League club in conjunction with Abu Dhabi Tourism and Culture Authority and Etihad airways.
