Liverpool Edge Burnley In Nervy Affair, Claim FOURTH Spot

Jurgen Klopp's side needed to overcome a side further down the table to prove they have overcome a disastrous start to 2017.
Ashley Barnes returned from his one-match ban and grabbed Burnley's goal in the eighth minute when he met a perfect cross from Matthew Lowton deep inside the box and controlled it with a nice first touch. He then produced an accurate strike into the bottom left corner.
Liverpool equalised through Georginio Wijnaldum in the dying minutes of the first half when he fired a rebound inside the left post after the ball broke to him in the box.

Emre Can made it 2-1 advantage Liverpool in the 61st minute when he received an accurate pass and tried his luck with a long-range shot that went into the bottom right corner and behind the goalkeeper.
Burnley had beaten Liverpool in the reverse fixture earlier this season but have not won at Anfield since 1974 and have only scored one goal in their resulting nine attempts, losing eight of those.
Sean Dyche's side are yet to win away from home in the Premier League this season and have only managed two draws.
Liverpool meanwhile are undefeated in 20 of their last 21 home matches in the Premier League.
The Reds were without captain Jordan Henderson whose foot is still heavily bruised and the England international may continue to miss out for sometime.
